Apples, nuts and celery—a classic combination. The best part?
You need only 10 minutes to throw it all together!

Waldorf Salad

Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 10 min
Makes: 6 servings (3/4 cup each)

3/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons milk
3 medium unpeeled red eating apples, coarsely chopped (3 cups)
3 medium celery stalks, chopped (1 1/2 cups)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts
Salad greens, if desired
  
  1. Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice and milk in medium bowl.
2. Stir in apples, celery and nuts. Serve on salad greens.
Cover and refrigerate any remaining salad.

Variation  
Take this salad to the Tropics! Replace one apple and the lemon juice with one 8-
ounce can of pineapple chunks in juice (save 1 tablespoon of juice), and sprinkle
each serving with toasted coconut.
  

Watergate Salad

Cool Whip 2 16oz tub
Mini Marshmallows 1 Small Bag
Crushed Pineapple Drained 1 Can
Pistachio Pudding Mix 1 pk
Pecans 1 Cup
Coconut 1 Small Bag
Cherry for color

Combine Fold everything together, serve with fresh fruit

Makes 8 Servings


Simple Chili
This will cut hours of cooking time, and has many uses,
and you can make as thick or thin as you want.
Low in fats and no fillers.

Ingredients
Ground Beef
Ketchup
Chili Powder

Directions:
In a sauce pan cook the ground beef till gray/brown no pink
and drain.
Add ketchup to the thickness you want.
Season with chili powder to your taste.
Great on Hot Dogs, Burgers and also
great with Pintos or on Tacos and Salads


Hash Brown Casserole

"It is very easy to make, and everyone loves this casserole."

INGREDIENTS:
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups sour cream
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
Ground black pepper to  taste
1 (2 pound) package frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
4 ounces extra sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup crushed cornflakes cereal

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a
9x13 inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the soup, sour cream, butter, dried
onion flakes, and pepper. Stir in the hash browns and 1/2 the cheese.
Pour into the prepared baking dish, sprinkle with remaining cheese,
and top with crushed cornflakes.
3. Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until cheese is melted
and bubbly.
